Our expert has opted not to use a grow bag for his tomato plant and instead opted for a large pot. If you too want to grow your tomato in a pot, start by filling with compost and mix in some water retaining granules.
Place your pot on a saucer, this will help retain the water, then any excess water can be soaked up by the plant and avoids it drying out.
Strap your tomato plant to a cane to aid the plant.
Make sure you feed your tomato plant regularly for a larger harvest.
